Thrace, Thasos (Island). After 148 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.10g, 32mm). Obv.: wreathed head of young Dionysos right. Rev.: ΗΡΑΚΛΕΟVΣ / ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ / ΘΑΣΙΩΝ, nude Herakles standing left, holding club and lion’s skin; monogram to inner left. SNG Copenhagen 1040. A bit wavy, nice VF.
