Thrace, Chersonesos. Circa 386-338 BC. AR Hemidrachm (2.33g, 12mm). Obv.: forepart of lion right, head left. Rev.: quadripartite incuse square with alternating raised and sunken quarters; VE monogram to right of pellet and lizard in opposite sunken quarters. McClean 4117; Weber 2415; SNG Copenhagen 830. Slightly porous, toned VF.
