Celtic Northeast Gaul. Upper and Middle Seine. Uncertain tribe. Circa 60-40 BC. Cast Potin (3.01g, 17mm). Obv.: highly stylized head on the left, helmeted with a torc, globular eye. Rev.: horse right, a pellet below mouth, a severed head or bucrania above the rump and another upside down below the chest. DT 2656. Very rare. gVF.
