Attica, Athens. 158/157 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.66g, 30.5mm). Eyme, Epigene-, Sosandros, magistrates. Obv.: head of Athena right, wearing triple-crested helmet. Rev.: A – ΘE / EY / MH – EΠI / ΓENH / ΣΩΣAN / ΔPOΣ, owl standing right, head facing, on upturned amphora, eagle on left, hpa below, all in olive wreath. Cf. Thompson 449-53. Few scratches, VF.
