Anonymous. Circa 5th century. AE Exagium Coin Weight (?)(1.38g, 14mm). Obv.: larger and smaller nimbate imperial figures enthroned facing, each wearing robes, and holding long scepter and globus; XAPIC in exergue. Rev.: blank. Cf. Elec. Auc. 542, lot  456 (higher weight). VF.

Since the CNG specimen has a weight of 4.53 gram and this one 1.38 gram I would suggest these were used as coins weights for the Solidus and Tremissis
