Thrace, Thasos (Island). 2nd century BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.66g, 32.5mm). Obv.: diademed head of Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev.: ΗΡΑΚΛΕΟΥΣ / ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ / ΘΑΣΙΩΝ, Heracles, nude, standing facing, head turned left, lion’s skin over left arm, holding club with his right hand; in inner left field, monogram.
